The organizers of VM Quy Nhon decided to move the date from July 4 to August 22 to ensure the safety of athletes before the Covid-19 situation has not been completely controlled.
Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee and VnExpress newspaper have just agreed to delay the organization of the VM Sparkling Quy Nhon 2021 race because the epidemic situation has not been completely controlled in Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh and some other localities. On June 14, Ho Chi Minh City decided to continue the city-wide social distancing according to directive 15 for an additional 2 weeks.
The decision to postpone the tournament date to August 22 is to ensure maximum safety for athletes, the community as well as the quality of tournament expertise.

The organizers will reserve all Bib interests of athletes and adjust the Regular ticket sales period to the end of August 1. For runners who have purchased air tickets, the Organizing Committee will continue to work with airlines to find a way to support ticket conversion fees (excluding airport taxes and upgrade fees) to a new time. Details will be announced in the near future.
This is the second time VnExpress Marathon Sparkling Quy Nhon 2021 has changed the organization date. According to the old schedule, the tournament will take place on June 6, then postponed to July 4 and the latest to August 22. This change is force majeure while festival activities, major sporting events are also canceled or postponed due to the epidemic.
