Nearly 1,900 people across the country have run nearly 15,000 km since May 15, to promote the spirit of creativity, towards Vietnam Science Day.
As of 3:00 p.m. on May 18, the virtual running tournament “Run for creativity” organized by VnExpress cooperated with the Ministry of Science and Technology to organize to attract 1,800 participants. Most choose a distance of 100 km.
Besides the familiar models, many new runners are people working in the field of science. Leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology, officials and employees of enterprises actively look forward to Vietnam Science Day 18/5. The total distance that the runners have completed is nearly 15,000 km, which is one of the most active tournaments on the V-Race virtual running system.

Out of 138 participating groups, the group with the most members is the Running Community (R4S) – 77 people and contributed nearly 900 km to the tournament. “Running for creativity” also attracts running groups and communities: IStride – VNUIS Runners Club, MobiRun, 3T 91-94 Hanoi High School, Adidas Runners Saigon, Quang Ngai Runners…

Most of the athletes shared that they did not place much emphasis on achievements but emphasized perseverance and efforts. People are still at the age of children and many are middle-aged, running for the purpose of improving health and preventing epidemics.
“Run for creativity” is the 17th prize of the V-Race virtual running platform, encouraging everyone to participate and it is completely free. Through regular exercise, people will improve their health and fully comply with regulations on disease prevention.
The award motivates the young generation, especially students who are passionate about scientific research, contributing to building and developing the future scientific staff through the runner’s steps.

Runner registers to participate from 12pm on May 14. Players after registration can start running from 0:00 the next day. Each runner records results in a cumulative form within 21 days of registration. Registration deadline is 6/6.
Four distances 10 km, 21 km, 42 km, 100 km will be suitable for participation conditions of the majority of people. During the tournament, the runner can run an unlimited number of times, as long as he accumulates enough registered distances, with an average speed of 3 minutes/km to 12 minutes/km (pace 3:00 to 12). :00). The speed range allows runners to run and walk as needed, making it suitable even for beginners.
In addition, each person needs to integrate the Strava app with the V-Race platform to record the results after each run. At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee will summarize and honor the achievements of runners from July 28 to August 27.
