Winning the Open de Espana on November 29, Emily Kristine Pedersen was the first member to win a series of three titles in the European professional women’s golf arena.

Since the introduction of the Ladies European Tour (LET) in 1978, Pedersen has been the second person to win three consecutive events in an individual stroke play format. The person who previously achieved this feat was Marie-Laure de Lorrenzi, in 1989.

Perdesen’s winning streak took place in just two weeks, starting November 15. In just four days, she won two LET events in Saudi Arabia. Yesterday, this Danish player won the curtain down tournament in the Spanish city of Marbella. Loi led a club after 54 holes on the par72 field, a golfer born in 1996 hit 66 clean bogey sticks in the final round of the tournament and went up to the coronation podium at -15. The final difference between her and runner-up Nuria Iturrioz was four strokes. At the event, Pedersen was given a bag of sticks.

“My dad put me on golf and always supported me with all my might. He was the driving force when I was discouraged. It’s special to have him on the pitch and win the trophy,” Pedersen said at the ceremony.

In addition to the $ 107,700 at the Open de Espana, Pedersen earned an extra $ 24,000 for leading the race for a similar full-season title to LPGA Tour’s Race to the CME Globe, or the FedEx Cup of the PGA Tour. As a result, for the entire 2020 season, Pedersen achieved a total bonus income of nearly $ 497,000, largely thanks to 12 events, including winning four trophies, once finishing second and two times the top 12 in the end. She also leads the LET in the hole, with 13 eagles and 158 birds. All season, Pedersen played an average of 260 yards with 65% of fairway hits, averaging 66% per round on the green and using 31 shots.

Thanks to its high year-round performance, Pedersen won major US Open 2020 from December 10 to December 13 in Houston, Texas. In the major in the US, her best achievement peak was T36 at Women’s PGA Championship 2017.
