The medal is in the shape of a fan, 100 mm long, 65 mm wide and 4.5 mm thick, crafted from a sturdy zinc material. Design inspired by melody Vu shale (fan dance), often appeared in important parties of the Hue court. The slim fan outside, big in the middle, features images of Hue Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda and the National School. The organizers choose the nostalgic gold color to match the road running through many hundred-year-old landmarks, heritage.
Hue Quoc Hoc High School is located to the right of the medal. The school is located on the romantic Perfume River, built under the reign of King Thanh Thai (1896), with an area of 4,237 m2. This is the French – Vietnamese school of the entire Indochina and the first high school in Hue.
