VnExpress Marathon started to launch in June 2019 with the first running race taking place in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province and attracting nearly 5,000 runners across the country. The run has become the largest annual sporting event held in this locality. The route runs through many beautiful places, takes runners to welcome dawn on Thi Nai bridge, admires the blue beaches, white sand hills… making VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon one of the “must participate” races every year of many runners across the country.

Entering 2020, besides Quy Nhon, VnExpress Marathon also continues to expand “roads” to many other localities. VM Hue and then the VM Hanoi Midnight night race attracted more than 10,000 runners to stride on the roads of VnExpress Marathon.

Not only marked with beautiful running routes, VnExpress Marathon is also known for its professional organization, taking care of athletes during the race, from racekit bags with full items to road support. running and post-race recovery. Each successful VM tournament has the cooperation of a strong team with about 200 organizing committee members and nearly 1,000 volunteers.

In the third year of organization, besides Quy Nhon and Hanoi, the running series continues to expand to two coastal cities, Nha Trang and Ha Long. Each tournament is expected to attract nearly 10,000 runners across the country to participate in the sports atmosphere and experience the cultural and tourist imprints of each locality.

After 3 years of operation, with 4 successful races and 5 other races in preparation for launch, the VnExpress Marathon brand has made its mark as one of the top quality marathon systems. Since then, the tournament has made a significant contribution to encouraging people to participate in running and practicing sports to improve their physical health.

The prize also deducts 10% of ticket sales to support the construction of schools for poor children, in addition to emergency relief activities such as supporting Hue people during the historic flood in October 2020.
