VM Sparkling Quy Nhon 2021 launches 5 Finisher shirts

This is the first time a large-scale marathon in Vietnam has had 5 versions of the Finisher shirt, instead of the usual one. Every VNExpress Marathon Sparkling Quy Nhon 2021 athlete has the opportunity to put his personal mark on the Finisher shirt on the next 6/6 race day, in the coastal city of Quy Nhon.

The shirt for the winner in 42 km content includes a normal template and 3 samples with personal achievement in accordance with the milestones: under 3 hours, under 3 hours 30 minutes and less than 4 hours (equivalent to Sub 3, Sub 3:30, Sub 4).

For example, a runner who completes the track in 2 hours 50 minutes will receive a shirt with “Sub 3” printed on it. Achievement based on chiptime of the Organizing Committee. For the finishers after 4 hours and the 21 km runners will receive the normal shirt according to the distance, no results are printed.

All 5 Finisher shirts are under the Saucony brand, produced in Malaysia and distributed by Key Power Sports Vietnam. The design is inspired by the land of Quy Nhon, with distinctive green colors. Line motifs that curl on the shoulders and tail of the shirt like waves create a strong and strong look in parallel with the athlete’s running.

The front of the shirt is printed with the logo and the name of the run – “VnExpress Marathon”, the back is the words “FINISHER” with distance. In particular, the sleeve part is dotted with a red flag with a yellow star.

To increase efficiency, this year’s shirt uses water-based printing technology with water-based components, unlike previous printing inks whose main component is synthetic resin. This new ink is environmentally friendly and has many outstanding advantages over traditional ink. Instead of just sticking to the outer surface of the fabric, water-based ink will “dye” deeply into each fabric, thereby achieving a very good adhesion.

The wearer will not feel a separate layer of ink when touching. The combination of dyeing and water-based printing makes the shirt durable and airy, suitable for outdoor sports activities.

After the announcement, the Finisher shirt is the reason for many people to choose the two longest distances at VnExpress Marathon Sparkling Quy Nhon 2021. The organizers have recorded more than 50% of the registrations poured into 2 distances 21 and 42 km. Some runners share that they still have 2 months of practice for the first time to conquer 42 km in Quy Nhon this summer.

VnExpress Sparkling Quy Nhon 2021 which took place on 6/6, is the earliest tournament in VnExpress Marathon system this year. The prize is accompanied by sponsor Hung Thinh Land.
