In the last game that took place from the morning of March 30, Tuan Minh (Elo 2,522) took the white army, just drew Duong The Anh (2,309) to win. But, he suddenly failed. The national chess championship record belongs to Dao Thien Hai with six men’s championships, and Bao Tram with five women’s titles. Vietnam’s number one player – Quang Liem – won twice in 2007 and 2010.
