The Hanoi Night Marathon returns in November

Similar to the 2020 season, the Hanoi night marathon will take place in November in the cold early winter weather. This is an ideal time for running lovers to have the night running experience in the Capital as well as to achieve the highest personal achievement.

The opening date for ticket registration will be announced by the organizers in the coming days.

Before that, when being held in Hanoi for the first time on November 28, 2020, also the first large-scale night run competition in Vietnam, more than 5,000 people went through a vibrant jogging festival together. Athletes feel Hanoi night is very different with each step.

The athlete road starts from Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square on Bo Ho, through the Opera House, Cathedral, Uncle Ho’s Mausoleum, Thanh Nien Street located in the middle of West Lake, Truc Bach Lake, 11-year-old Quan Thanh Temple century with a series of other landscapes. Athletes have expensive commemorative photos with many beautiful camera angles showing their run against the shimmering beautiful night of Hanoi. In total, more than 80,000 photos were taken at the event.

Night run has proved its advantage when hundreds of people have PR (personal record) at the tournament, including Ha Van Nhat, the head of the 42 km distance under the age of 31.

At VM Hanoi Midnight 2020, Trinh Quoc Luong is a male champion with a distance of 42 km in his first VnExpress Marathon. Pham Thi Hong Le also attended for the third time and also became a female champion for the third time. To encourage the community jogging movement, the Organizing Committee has expanded from 3 to 5 awards per category at a distance of 21 and 42 km, as well as adding an award for ages over 50.
