About 1.5 meters from the 6th hole, but Brian Harman needed four putts to finish in the third round of the major US Open in San Diego on June 19.

In the third round, Harman entered the game from hole 1, scoring two birdies to score -1 before entering hole 6, par4. At this point, he hit 311 yards down the right side of the fairway, then hit a bunker on the second shot but onto the green on the third.

Harman had a chance to keep par as the ball was about 1.5 meters from the target. However, from that position, the American golfer lost up to four putts, of which twice licked the hole, once circling a parachute 0.3 meters away.

Triple bogey on hole 6 made Harman score +2. After the tunnel collapse, he added two birdies and a bogey, thereby reaching an even par score. Thanks to that, the player born in 1987 pulled the score to +1, standing at T21 after 54 holes.

Harman has been playing professionally since 2009, so far, winning two PGA Tour championships.

He competed in the US Open four times, including T2 in 2017.
