The ancient capital’s beauty on Hue VnExpress Marathon medal

The Medal design of VnExpress Hue Marathon 2020 is inspired by the Vuon dance (fan dance) used at important parties of Hue court.

The overall medallion shape is like a fan spreading, 100 mm wide and 65 mm wide, 4.5 mm thick, respectively. This is the only medal ever running in the shape of a traditional fan. Eye-catching design with impressive sinking details through each fan blade gradually growing to the center.

To match the road running through many hundred-year-old landmarks, heritage in the ancient capital, the medal is covered with a nostalgic copper gold color on durable zinc material.

The lower part of the medal is the braille “VNEXPRESS MARATHON HUE”.

Athletes who come to Hue to attend VM Hue at the end of this year will have the opportunity to run on tree-shaded streets, through beautiful landscapes such as Thien Mu Pagoda, Dai Noi, Phu Van Lau, Truong Tien Bridge , Quoc Hoc Hue and Hai Ba Trung schools …

The organizers chose the image of Thien Mu Pagoda as the symbol placed in the middle of the medal. The two sides are Dai Noi and the National School. These are three famous landmarks, associated with Hue tourism as well as international cultural and artistic events.

At the finish of VnExpress Hue Marathon 2020, athletes will receive the same medal, only different in string color. Athletes 5 km receive a medal with red rope; 10 km with purple-green wire; 21 km is blue; 42 km green. Team Crew will receive medals with purple straps.

The Hue Marathon VNExpress will take place on December 27 with 4 familiar distances: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km semi-marathon and 42 km full marathon.
