For 5 kilometers, it is Dong Thap’s turn to control the speed, pull the crowd to the finish line at high speed, bringing the two legs to withdraw – Nguyen Tan Hoai and Tran Tuan Kiet – into a dispute with Le Nguyet Minh (Ho Chi Minh City New Group) . With the advantage of having two attacking shots, Dong Thap succeeded when Tan Hoai finished first, and Tuan Kiet finished second. Nguyet Minh had to finish third.

The total time of the leg is 5 hours 9 minutes 10 seconds, the average speed is 38.62 km / h.

Thanks to the eighth finish, Desriac still holds the Yellow Shirt after nine races. Tan Hoai kept the Blue Shirt, while Le Hai Dang wore the White Shirt.

Bikelife Dong Nai leads the team competition, second place is Vinama Ho Chi Minh City and third place belongs to Domesco Dong Thap.

Tomorrow 16/4, the 10th leg of the race from Quang Binh to Thua Thien Hue is 162kilomet long.

The 2021 Television Cup competition through Vietnam has a total prize fund of nearly 2 billion VND – the highest in history. 15 domestic teams participate, compete on a total route of 2,450 kilometers through 22 stages. The race departs from Cao Bang on April 6, and then finishes at the Independence Palace, Ho Chi Minh City on April 30.

Due to Covid-19, this year’s Television Cup cannot invite foreign racing teams. But the tournament still has two veterans in Vietnam for a long time, Javier Sarda Perez (HCMC) and Loic Descriac (Dong Nai).
