Tan Hoai for the fourth time at the 2021 Television Cup

Today’s race has a 51km route, including 10 rounds around Xuan Huong Lake (each 5.1km round) taking place on a flat road. The racers, therefore, exerted their powerful attack power, pushed the speed up very high, dedicating the fans to the fascinating performances.

Dong Nai riders actively controlled the game position and speed to protect the Yellow Shirt for Loic Desriac and the first place of his teammates. Meanwhile, teams of Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang, Dong Thap, and Military Region 7 continuously attacked to separate the top, looking for opportunities to win the prize along the way as well as to win the leg.

The efforts of Tran Tuan Kiet (Dong Thap), Nguyen Van Binh (Ho Chi Minh City), Tong Thanh Tuyen (the Army), helped them reach the finish line in the first sprint. At sprint 2, driver Nguyen Truc Xinh (Ho Chi Minh City) won, his teammate Nguyen Van Binh finished second, and Nguyen Van Duong (Hanoi) ranked third.

In the last rounds, Truc Xinh alone broke out of the crowd. However, he was caught up by the drivers behind in the final round, so the battle at the destination took place between three sprint kings including Nguyen Tan Hoai (Dong Thap), Le Nguyet Minh (Ho Chi Minh City New Group) and Trinh Duc. Ho Chi Minh City riders actively made high speed for Le Nguyet Minh to sprint. But Nguyen Tan Hoai jumped from behind to win just narrowly before Le Nguyet Minh. This is the fourth leg of this Dong Thap trail to finish first at the 2021 Television Cup, thereby helping him keep the Green Shirt steady.

Duration of the leg is 1 hour 3 minutes 21 seconds, the average speed 48,303 km / h.

In the first place, Desriac successfully defended the Yellow Shirt. The Red-dot shirt is held by Spanish racer Javier Perez. The White Shirt for the young driver still belongs to Le Hai Dang (Dong Thap). Dong Nai continued to hold the throne of teammates.

Tomorrow April 29, the riders competed for the 21st leg from Da Lat to Bao Loc with the 110 km route.

The 2021 Television Cup competition through Vietnam has a total prize fund of nearly 2 billion VND – the largest in history. 15 domestic teams participate, compete on a total route of 2,450 km through 22 stages. The race departs from Cao Bang on April 6, and then finishes at the Independence Palace, Ho Chi Minh City on April 30. Due to Covid-19, this year’s Television Cup cannot invite foreign racing teams. But the tournament still has two veterans in Vietnam for a long time, Javier Sarda Perez (HCMC) and Loic Descriac (Dong Nai).
