Quang Liem will attend the tournament with 15 other players, in which 12 players have been identified including Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, Wesley So, Alireza Firouzja, Hikaru Nakamura, Jorden van Foreest, David Anton, Adhiban Baskaran, Aryan Tari, Eduardo Iturrizaga, Humpy Koneru, Ju Wenjun (Ju Wenjun) and Abhimanyu Mishra.

Carlsen will be absent from a Champions Chess Tour for the first time, as he is busy competing at the World Chess Cup in Sochi, Russia. Mamedyarov is the number one seed according to Elo standard chess, and Quang Liem is number five.

Chessable Masters appeared four rookie players on the Tour, including two female players for the first time, Koneru and Cu.
