Long AnAfter the failed 2020 season, VTV Binh Dien Long An women’s volleyball team said farewell to coach Nguyen Quoc Vu and brought Ms. Luong Nguyen Ngoc Hien to the army.
Long An women’s volleyball won the national championship in a row in 2017 and 2018. But in the 2019 season, they ranked fourth and empty-handed. The decline continued into the 2020 season, when Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vu’s teachers and students were knocked out of the final round of the National Championship for the first time in seven years.

Facing those failures, today December 31st, the team leader decided to change a series of personnel. Head coach Nguyen Quoc Vu was transferred to the position of a gifted coach. Assistant Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa moved to hold the VTV Binh Dien Long An youth team.
Ms. Luong Nguyen Ngoc Hien was selected as the coach of the VTV Binh Dien Long An female team. Ms. Hien is considered the “great hero” of Long An volleyball when she has many years in charge of youth, discovering and training such names as Ngoc Hoa, Dieu Chau, Kim Lien, Tuyet Hoa, Duong Thi Nhan, Duong. Thi Hen, Thanh Thuy, Kim Thanh …
“After the last sad seasons, we want to change, to make the team more developed”, said Mr. Thai Buu Lam, Director of Binh Dien Sports One Member Company Limited. “This adjustment is based on the thoughts and aspirations of the club’s coaching staff, wanting to create a new wind, to return to reap future success”.
