Max Homa won after two extra holes with Tony Finau, earning $ 1,674 million at the PGA Tour event with a $ 9.3 million prize fund in Southern California.

Homa and Finau finished 72 standard holes at -12 on the Riviera, par71. Both play-offs to determine the final result.

At the first extra hole – hole 10, par4, 282 yards long, Homa thought he lost the game because he crossed the green and the ball was close to the big tree. However, he still entered the pits with his wedges, 3.6 meters away and added two more par.

The second round took place at the 14 par3 hole, 192 yards long with the flag near the back edge, left of the green. At the beginning of the round, Homa was T2, two strokes behind Sam Burns at the top of group -10. Burns led all the way from the start of the tournament. Burns finished third at -11, getting $ 641,700. The top 10 in the end with the top 10 golfer pair of world rankings (OWGR) including number one Dustin Johnson and second Jon Rahm. Johnson was on T8 and Rahm returned to T5.
