HCMC Golf Association cooperates with VGS Holding

It is expected that from March 2021, VGS Holding will directly organize five major HGA awards. The titles of these prizes are associated with landmarks, for individuals of all ages and movement clubs, including Swing For Life – the oldest annual charity golf event in Vietnam with 21 periods.

HGA currently has nearly 500 members. The HAG Executive Board for the 2019-2023 term was launched in November last year. Mr. Tran Thanh Tu assumed the Chairmanship position, while Ms. Nguyen Van Anh held the title of Secretary General, becoming the first female executive leader in HGA’s 15-year history.

HGA’s predecessor was the Saigon Golf Club launched in 1997. In 2005, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City licensed the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Golf Association with the English abbreviation “SGGA” to be used until the first half of this year. The main characters in the formation and development of the association are Mr. Le Kien Thanh, Pham Phu Ngoc Trai, Vo Viet Thanh, Duong Thanh, Tran Dang Long.

VGS Holding is a member of VGS Group. This business builds the technology foundation for the national handicap system – Vhandicap, and is also a strategic partner of the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA).
