Top 10 world golf rankings (OWGR) updated on October 18, recording up to seven players aged 30 and under.
Dustin Johnson is still at the top of OWGR. Born in 1984, he is the oldest golfer in the top 10. Besides Johnson, this segment also has two 8X faces including Rory McIlroy (1989) and Webb Simpson (1985). McIlroy is at sixth place OWGR, while Simpson is two places lower.
In terms of age, the remaining seven golfers in the top 10 born after 1990 include Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele, Bryson DeChambeau, Tyrell Hatton and Patrick Cantlay. In it, the youngest Morikawa – 1997, the oldest Hatton – 1991. Thomas, DeChambeau, Schauffele with 1993 and Rahm 1994.

And in the current top 10, only Johnson and McIlroy keep the top of OWRG many times. However, in terms of total holding time, Johnson has been 113 weeks while McIlroy 106 weeks. On this front, Johnson is third, Greg Norman is second with 331 weeks, and Tiger Woods has a record of 683 weeks.
Born in 1986, yesterday OWGR had five players 23 years old or younger in the top 25. The list includes Morikawa, Matthew Wolff, Viktor Hovland, Im Sung-jae and Joaquin Niemann. Hovland is the same age as Morikawa is 14th, Wolff 21 years old is 15th. Im and Niemann are 22 years old, but Im is 18th, while Niemann is at the top 25.
