Glover was born in 1979, at the age of 30 holding a major organized by the American Golf Association (USGA). After a career breakthrough, he continued to win his third PGA Tour title when he won the Wells Fargo Championship 2011. But since then, Glover has dropped in form, including twice being relegated to the Second Division group. Korn Ferry Tour (KFT), so no more titles yet.

It was not until yesterday, July 11, that he ascended to the podium on the PGA Tour thanks to 64 strokes of the John Deere Classic final round. This match, Glover scored eight birdies and one bogey on par71. It was a 3.6-meter putt that recorded a birdie on the 17th hole and a par on the 18th hole from 1.8 meters that put Glover on the podium with a final difference of two strokes compared to T2 including Ryan Moore and Kevin Na.

“I’ve always believed that nothing is certain in golf because it’s easy this time but it’s harder next time. I’ve been to KFT twice, first due to injury, the other because of poor form. Yes, the last ten years. It was extremely difficult, but I never lost faith in myself and my purpose,” Glover shared during the award ceremony.

Glover received $ 1,116 million while the two runner-ups received the same $ 551,800.

At the beginning of the closing match, the tournament recorded 24 players with the ability to finish first. By then, Glover was four strokes from the top of the table. He gradually shortened the gap and took first place after birdie 0.9 meters away on hole 15.

Moore and Na entered the game at least two holes behind Glover. Both could not catch up with the opponent in the last four holes of the court. During this period, Moore birdie on the 17th hole, the rest are par, so the prize is at -17. And Na finished -16 by bogey on hole 15 and then finished with Moore by birdie-par in the last two holes.

Glover has been playing professionally since 2001. When he won the US Open at -4 at Bethpage Black par70, Tiger Woods finished T6 at even par, Phil Mickelson finished T2 (point -2). It was also the fifth time in Lefty’s record six times to finish second at the US Open major.
